Plant Care
Light: Thrives in low to medium, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering frequency in the winter months.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly or placing a humidifier nearby.
Temperature: Ideal temperatures range from 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). Protect from drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat, pine bark, and perlite.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Choose a pot that is 1-2 inches larger in diameter.
