Plant Care

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, but too much can cause leaf burn.

Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top inch to dry out between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in water, as this can lead to root rot. Water less frequently during the winter months.

Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity. To maintain optimal humidity, consider misting the leaves occasionally or using a humidifier.

Temperature: Ideal temperatures range from 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). Protect from drafts, sudden temperature changes, and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat, perlite, and pine bark.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Repotting: Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is 1-2 inches larger in diameter.
