Plant Care

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly and lose some of its dense foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. Reduce watering in the winter when the plant's growth slows.

Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly or using a humidifier, especially in dry indoor environments.

Temperature: Ideal temperatures range from 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat, perlite, and pine bark, to ensure proper drainage and prevent root rot.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is 1-2 inches larger in diameter and has good drainage.
