The ‘Ice Plant’ is a grey-green colored succulent that blooms daisy-like flowers that are beautiful, bright yellow during summer and fall. The ‘Ice Plant’ is a perfect groundcover for terrariums, planters, rock gardens, wedding arrangements, and in landscape use.

Origin: South Africa

Plant Type: Succulent

Size: up to 8”

Propagation: Propagate this succulent by taking a cutting from the mother plant. Allow the cutting stem to dry and callous over where the plant was clipped for a few days, and then place the cutting into moist soil. Avoid watering and keep out of direct sunlight until the plant has rooted (about 2-3 weeks).

Growth Habit: Mounding, spreading, groundcover

Light: Full sun

Water: Water this succulent only once the soil is completely dry. Be cautious to not over water this succulent to avoid root rot. This succulent will do best in a well-draining soil.

Temperature: Warm coastal climates. Avoid freezing temperatures.

Fertilizer: Apply fertilizer during the growing season from springtime through summer, once or twice a week. This will boost the plant's natural defenses against environmental stress.

Tips: Use a well-draining soil medium to help avoid root rot! Maintain in an environment with fresh air flow.
